I've drawn this a year or so ago but only recently found the vehicle mode to complete the pic. Linework's a little scraggly, I think I drew this without the benefit of a ruler. And it's a pretty casual.


I like the new Transformers, fits my gibbly style, and I was thinking about the possibility of Combiners before Longhaul was revealed. Working on some of the comic history, gave Onslaught a truck look, desert-brown paintjob, an AA gun and a rear trolley just for extra mass to use.

Drawing the wheels freehand is all kinds of annoying, it's not like I have an ellipse template to help with. And there's an extra pair of wheels more than Optimus.

Went for a military commander look and a more human-like figure. Kept the guns-on-back look the toy had.


Apparently ROTF's lineup has an Onslaught toy, it's a 6x6 missile launcher. Oh well, that's what I get for being late.

When I have time, I'll figure out the rest of the Combaticons and maybe sketch out Bruticus.
